Being a parent is hard, being a new mother is an even tougher transition. The first couple months is an adjustment period. I’ve created a list of 5 mommy must-haves.
The first on this list is a
Sleeping machine
This machine is not only useful for your baby, but it can also be relaxing for you. It creates a very calm and undisturbed environment so your child can sleep great. There is a ton of machines to choose from, most have a variety of sounds from rain, to nature, to a calm white noise.

Pregnancy ball
If you don’t have one of these already, you should get one. They are all around amazing! You can use it for so many things. I use it sometimes as a substitute for a rocking chair. The slight bounce is soothing to infants, and it puts them to sleep like magic. Try and find the largest one you can.
This ball is also good for exercising.
Pre-made bottles
Have you ever held a crying baby while simultaneously trying to make a bottle? It’s a sport, for sure. I recently ran across a product from, PopYum on Instagram, that lets you pre-make bottles. The formula is stored in the bottle, but, separately from the water and when your baby is ready to feed you simply push a button that releases the formula into the water. Magical, right? I think it’s a resourceful product for parents who plan to formula feed.
Wet Bags
There is nothing worse than taking off a soiled cloth diaper and having nowhere to put it. For all the mama’s who cloth diaper it is essential that you have a few wet bags. Visit cooperrosebaby.com for wet bags and handmade cloth diapers.
Swaddles
Pre-made swaddles are also convenient if you’re a busy mom. There are tons of swaddles that are lightly weighted, like this Nested Bean Lightly Weighted Swaddle to help your baby sleep better at night. Personally, I wouldn’t use them for children under 4 months, but they are really helpful when children have a hard time sleeping alone.
