I’m Emily, a parent educator, and blogger. I am passionate about providing parents and parents-to-be with research-based information that will propel them into becoming the best parents to their little ones. I have a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences, concentrating heavily on child development.
My expertise lies with children ranging from zero to five years. What happens during those tender ages provides a framework for the many years to come, which is what sparked my interest, several years ago, into the world of child development.
In my pastime, I hang out with children and adolescents at the local children’s shelter. We create art, read books, visit amusements etc. Despite going through a tremendously tough time, the simple moments of enjoyment seem to mean a lot to them.
In the mist of my somewhat busy life, I’ve found time to go to graduate school, where I study Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
So, if you’re the least bit interested in children, their development, and ways to work with them in a holistic way, then you’re in the right place.
